Personal Information:
I am a retired Special Agent with U. S. Customs Service, 27 years. I have held a
100 ton Masters Inland license with a towing endorsement for 12 years. Over the
past 10 years I have worked as Captain for Sayville Ferry Service, Sayville,
N.Y. In this capacity I operated 7 passengers ferries which run from
Sayville to several communities on Fire Island. These vessels range in size from
14 gross tons with 97 passengers capacity to 77 gross ton with 412 passenger
capacity. I can assure you of an attitude of professionalism, loyalty,
positive work ethic and responsibility.
Experience
During my career with U.S. Customs, I attended the Advanced Marine Law
Enforcement Training Program. This was an intensive program consisting of both
classroom work and weeks of hands-on practical exercises. This training
covered trauma management, Helicopter and Medivac procedures, large boat and
pursuit boat handling, close quarter maneuvering and night navigation
operations.
I have made numerous deliveries along the East Coast from Rhode Island to
Miami, Florida and points in between. These boats ranged from 30' Hunter
Sail boats to 65' crew boats. |
